Young MC (Marvin Young) crashed the Hip Hop Top 40 charts in 1989 with his number one hit, "Bust A Move". He also wrote two hit songs for Ton Loc on the Delvinals label. They were "Wild Thing", and "Funky Cold Medina". He was then involved in a two year long law suit with his record company where he lost over $2, 000, 000 in revenue as a result of the brutal industry battle. After that, and three years later, he released another album that went no where. He also released a couple country flavored singles that received a bit of air play on country stations around the world, but went no where on the Billboard charts. After contracting Hepatitus C through an accidental blood transfusion as a result of an drive by shooting, he was hospitalized for over one year.
