Whodini...aside from the Fat Boys, who else could be considered as sucessful in an era when it was okay to smile on a hip-hop record cover? Whodinni's songs are partly about self-growth, partly about observations of the world around them, all the while remaining 100% party jams. Check out "One Love" and "Friends" to give yourself some food for thought. Songs like "Five Minutes of Funk" are appropriate if you are out to rock a set. Whodini also put out a suprisingly decent album in 1996 called "Six".
