Unfinished Wood has been in the Columbus, Ohio music scene for several years. Their guitar-driven trio rock has been heard at the Columbus club scene and on Columbus radio. Here is what Aaron Beck of the Columbus Dispatch wrote about UFW: "The core of Columbus' Unfinished Wood -- guitarist D. Scott Davis and bassist Tim Baumgardner -- got together in 2002 based on an interest in Kiss, Rush and the Foo Fighters. Drummer Noah MacKenzie completed the trio, which released its self-titled debut in 2003. The full-length follow up -- Is It Just Me? -- is full of classic- rock riffs and familiar melodies." The band is currently on hiatus.
