Tripwire began back in '99 as a group of friends mostly dicking around with music and writing a few songs for kicks, circulating them among friends, before actually getting serious about it. We like a lot of different things and we try to incorporate most of it into our songs - new wave, guitar pop, classic rock, electro, alternative, discopunk, soundtrack music - but what really gets us off are nice melodies. Right now we are recording our first album, while performing regularly on various venues around Athens.
