Trees is a band with a reason. "Although at first, we didn't know this". Matty and Brian wanted of take their dream of becoming successful in the music business to the next level, so they decide to go to college to become recording engineers. There they met Dole, who is the head of the recording department of the college they chose. Dole was in search of a vocalist for a much different project and decided to give Matty a listen. In the beginning, they worked on songs Dole had already recorded and some that Matty and Brian had with them. But the sound was not what they were looking for. After about a half dozen songs, they really wasn't to excited.
