On the musical side, I was the owner of Alum Ridge Music (1982-2000), a music publication and workshop company. As a local music artist, I've performed since 1975 as a solo artist and with several successful musical groups, culminating in The Tom Farley Band. I've written, performed, co-engineered and produced four recordings: the album Songsmyth (1982) and the CD recordings The Calm Before the Storm (1991), Songsmyth and the Basement Cuts (2000), and Over the Falls (2006).
