LISTEN to one track off of Tempus' Lie Like We Do, and you won’t believe that the band members were just 17 when they wrote and recorded it. In the spring of 2001, guitarist/vocalist Chris Harvey and drummer Jose Rosario decided to turn their after-school jam sessions into something more serious. Just days after high school graduation, the boys packed their bags and headed to Boston to record their first album. In 2002 they released "Like Like We Do" and booked several shows at famed venues in New York City, including The Elbow Room, The Lion’s Den, and Downtime. After their second performance at The Elbow Room, the band invited then-fan Robert Paul to jam with them on the keyboards at their next rehearsal. Amazed by his talents, they soon welcomed him into the band. For the next two years, the band continued working and attending their respective colleges, playing spot shows when their schedules allowed for it.
