BIOGRAPHY Ted Roberson Age: 62 Instruments: Bass, lead and rhythm guitar,keyboards. Lead and background vocals. I’m a Professional sequencer, drum machine And Computer programmer. I began playing in the middle fifties with local gospel groups. In early 1964 I joined the band” Les Cooper and the house rockers” which at this time had a hit record called Wiggle Wobble. I toured with the band until I was drafted in the army In 1966.After serving two years (one year in Vietnam.) I returned home. In mid-1968 I toured Europe and the Middle East with the band” DITTO AND THE LOVERS”. In 1971 I toured Europe again with the USO show. In 1972 I formed the band called” The N.Y. Stock Exchange.” Thru a booking agent in Montréal named Pierre Royal, we worked thru Canada from St.Catherins to Nova Scotia. In 1976 I joined The Bill Doggett Combo.(famous for the song, Honky Tonk.)We toured from the east coast to the west coast. Lots of freelance gigs with the likes of, Don Covey, Ben E. King, Noble...
