Tagyerit (tag you're it) was born into the world in 1996 with their first CD release Heavy Construction. TagYerit is the songwriting team of Rich & Flo Newman. Flo sings and plays her rabbit guitar, Rich plays bass. Several drummers have collaborated on their various recordings. Patrick Lavery ( Heavy Construction); Fred Hazelton (Tubeman) and Jeff "Chicken" Thompson (Gazing Globe). But the magic isn't complete until bluesman Ed Vadas steps behind the recording board as producer along with Greg Steele as engineer. There the songs come alive and take on a life of their own. (The happy conclusion is that the whole is better than the sum of its parts.) During Heavy Construction's promotional push it received airplay on 6 continents.
