Summit Avenue, consisting of Ben Anderson (vocals, acoustic guitar, piano), Josh Kobow (vocals, bass), Tony Leif(guitar, vocals) and Jeff Worden (drums), have blended rock, pop and blues music into a single style that has been entertaining crowds across the midwest. During the summer of 2005, Summit Ave appeared at the 2005 Cities 97 Basilica Block Party with Pete Yorn, the Wallflowers, Better Than Ezra, Blue Merle, Big Head Todd, Carbon Leaf, and Marc Broussard. The future looks very bright for this young and ambitious group. The band released its much anticipated first full length album As I Am in October.
