The four-piece powerhouse is comprised of incomparably dedicated and seasoned musicians, writing and playing the best music they ever been a part of creating. The group formed out of two bands that played many San Diego shows together over the last decade. Jay Edwards (vox) and Jai Luna (guitar), from Born Tonight, create an epic sound of elaborate and intricate chords and soaring, intense vocals. Clay Hackett (drums) and Dylan Wills (bass), from Take Over Turn, build a complex rhythmical and powerful grooving back bone. The four combined these talents to become The Suicide Chords.
The band has headlined at the world famous Roxy, opened for national acts at House of Blues, and played a string of explosive shows at its unofficial home-base, The Ruby Room, in San Diego. The buzz is rising amidst the local music scene and beyond.
