Stevie Nicks met up with Lindsay Buckingham, a classmate to form Buckingham Nicks. Their first realease was in 1973. Janis Joplin has been stated by Stevie as being her most influential artist. In order to pay the bills, she cleaned houses while Lindsay put her lyrics to music. Together they made perfect harmonies and great music. Introduced to Mick Fleetwod by their producer Mick asked them to consider joining the band. Stevie purchased every FM album, and played them. She consulted with Lindsay and in 1975 at the ripe age of 33, she and Lindsay joined with Mick, John McVie, and Christine McVie to produce some of the best remembered songs with FM. From the first album "Fleetwood Mac" and multiple albums in between "Say You Will" is their 11th. In 1980 Stevie's desire to express her music more than 1 or 2 songs per album with FM was becoming all the more frustrating, so she partnered with Jimmy Iovine to create and produce Bella Donna, her first solo album ... |
