Based: New York City Formed: March, 2000 First gig: Luna Lounge, Monday July 3 2000. First Demo: Entitled 'Fool out of Cancer'. This five-song cd was recorded by Mod Alien in May 2000 in order to get us some gigs. Only 80 were made and we sold them for five dollars at shows. Tracks include Bloated Wife, Homeland, Moongirl, Somewhere Across Forever and Clockwork. Toured with: Jane's Addiction, The Raveonettes, Placebo, Longwave, Sahara Hotnights, The 22's, The Ordinary Boys Shared bills with: Joe Strummer, Haven, Ours, The Strokes, Melissa Auf Der Maur, My Morning Jacket, The Sleepy Jackson Best gig: There's a few. Worst gig: Some dive bar in Hoboken. The sound guy was the bartender. Four people were present. First Label: Tiswas Records.
