Formed in 1995 by singer songwriter Paul Sparkes, Sparky's Cosmic Journey have been a favourite among some of New Zealand's top music and theatrical arts festival. Blending together their crazy cosmic rock with a mind bending multi-media stage show their gigs have rocked the stratosphere at many venues. Of their many successes perhaps their biggest was when their music video for crowd favourite. "More than a one night Stand" went to NO#1 on NBCi.com's worldwide countdown. It secured more than 6000 downloads a day, over 1.3 million in total and stayed in NBCi.com's TOP 10 for more than 6 months!!!! More recently their video for "Superseismic Girl" won the Knack Award at the "New Zealand Kodak Music Clip Awards" for BEST VIDEO produced for under $5000.
