South of Georgia, it simply means Florida. The name comes from TC Ridge, (front-man and founder) he wanted people to know that he’s proud of where things began. The music represents everyone, the common man, woman and child. TC describes it as Alternative Country, it’s the edge of where he sees country going. The songs are pure, about real living, real people, and an expression of who TC is and where he’s been. Currently South of Georgia is in the Studio recording a new CD, at Studio 4 in Pennsylvania with Grammy winning Producer/Engineer, Phil Nicolo and Producer Dean Davidson. TC co-wrote most of the material, however there are four songs on the CD that singer/ songwriter/ producer Dean Davidson wrote for South of Georgia, with TC ‘s own life experiences in mind.
