They call people my age(won't tell!!!), "THE FIRST GENERATION OF HIP HOP". Hip Hop really came into light when I was a teenager in Akron, Ohio. Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five, The Sugar Hill Gang, The Get Fresh Crew, Dana Dane, Slick Rick, Dougie Fresh and Eric B and Rakim were some of the major artists I listened to. I really love some of the Hip Hop that is out now, but some of it is starting to sound the same. There are new artists and some established ones going back to put the message back into Hip Hop again.
