Sleep in Fame is a young, energetic rock act out of Oakland, CA. In a time when every band is expected to fit a mold, or a genre, Sleep in Fame breaks these boundaries, exploring different styles and never getting boring. It's really hard to classify these guys as one thing. Yes, their music is poppy at times and heavy at others. Yes, their lyrics are emotional. Yes, they look like a boy band gone bad. But the best way to sum it up is just "great rock music." It's explosive, it's energetic, it's driving...It's rock & roll! Formed in early 2004, Sleep in Fame is the offspring of a handful of bay area bands who were tired of being just local bands. These four guys were ready to do something more. After forming, they began writing intensively and were playing shows in a matter of months. They booked two full West Coast tours in the first year they were together with much success.
