Skewer began in October 2005 on Barreiro / Portugal, with Valério (Guitar, Vocal and Drums) and Telmo (Bass and Backvocal). The band sounds like Alternative Rock from Seattle on the 90´s, some music’s from the first work “I Need Something Stronger”, was record at February 2006 and released in 500 copies in author edition are from demos of an old project Waste (1994 /1999). In the same year (2006) the search for new members begins to do the national tour for divulgation of Ep and Skewer name, in June 2006 the formation it’s finally complete Valério Vocal and Guitar, João Galrito Bass and Miguel Drums. End of 2006 Miguel leaves the band and JoãoG, becomes the drummer, Ernani Carlos is the new bass player. Various national radios plays Skewer, such as: Sinfonias (Sinfonias de Aço), Catedral do Rock (Popular FM), Duro de Ouvido (Vagos FM), Culto do Império (Lousã FM), Circulo de Fogo (Viriato FM).
