Simon Daum is a young composer from Germany who has just finished his first CD. His musicial training includes two years of piano lessons when he was 8 years old, and a few years of practicing the trumpet. One of the reasons he stopped taking piano lessons was because he wasn't satisfied with playing "songs which everyone was playing". Composing has always been his greatest love. Although Simon can barely play songs which are notated, he has been able to reach people with his own compositions. People describe his music as being full of emotion, uplifting, and very calming. Simon has been involved in a few CD projects, where he contributed with his music. He also composed a piano tune for a smaller movie and was just recently asked to write the score for a feature film.
