Hop aboard. The train is leaving and it is aptly referred to as The Shift, the intoxicating new band from Atlanta. Fueled by industrial strength caffeine, the music assaults the senses with pulsating power chords, delectable hooks, and positive lyrics with a wide range of influences, including: Nirvana/Beatle melodies; Redhot Chili Pepper hooks; pounding licks reminiscent of early Metallica and Sound Garden, and the lyrical slickness of early Bowie. The Shift has recently headlined at the 99x stage at the NOPI Super Show at Atlanta Motor Speedway and played the Rock For Tots, headlined by Kelly Keeling on December 3rd.
