MY STORY: I was born and raised in a small town in upstate NY. I started playing music when I was a little kid. Started playing guitar and getting paid for it when I was barely a teenager. After banging around L.A. for a few years, I visited Nashville on a friends’ advice and ended up moving there a short while after. I worked construction and bartended for the first couple years, writing songs whenever I had a minute to spare. After awhile that paid off and I found someone willing to bank-roll my talent (maybe I should say work ethic) and I started writing songs full-time and getting paid for it. All that hard-work had to lead to a few good things I guess; I got a song in a movie, a song on the radio, and a chance to perform on the Grand Old Opry, things were going great, Then my publishing company closed.
