From day one, the Hip-Hop culture has embraced the art of MC-ing. While most of generation X and Y believe that "Hip-Hop is dead", there is hope. Hip-Hop is running (and ruining) today's youth culture, and contemporary Rap music has an almost postmortem sound to it. There are no original ideas, expressions, or concepts. In other words, it's cool to bite rhymes, styles, and do "what's hot" in order to sell records. No one wants to stand out or be original...
