kit contents SCENIC SQUARE is Jason Roberts (vocals, rhodes, synths, sequences, rhythms), Jason Degelman (bass, synths, farfisa, sequences, noise), Zac Maloof (electric guitar), and Drew Shoemaker (electric guitar). The band are based out of Peoria, IL, a mid-sized industrial, river town known as the location of machinery company Caterpillar's world headquarters, Bradley University, it's "hardcore" music scene, and the resounding Vaudeville-era catch-phrase question, "will it play in PEORIA?!" Jason Roberts and Zac Maloof started SCENIC SQUARE in 1999 as a rock outfit. The band played a few local shows, then for the next few years didn't really play together at all. In 2003, after becoming inspired by electronically based bands like New Order, Radiohead, Mum and Boards of Canada, Jason Roberts started toying with electronic music..
