From behind the smog-veiled orange curtain, Southern California’s THE SCARRED have made a mission of returning to the roots of punk rock and bridging the gap between modern street punk and the inspired sounds of 1977. THE SCARRED formed in 2003, a core of the most dedicated individuals from the ashes of several local OC bands. After self-releasing their debut album in early 2004, THE SCARRED have spent the last year and a half playing over 120 shows during five U.S. tours in every available venue that they could find. From clubs to basements to deserted shacks, THE SCARRED have left no stone unturned in their mission to blitzkrieg the country, bringing the sounds of suburban angst and alienation from coast to coast.
