Ronald Purvis a.k.a Ron P, is the newest and hottest rapper to hit the Columbus scene. As a young man, Ron P was always in love with music. Music provided an outlet for the young rapper, allowing him to express his emotions by vibing with his favorite artists. Music helped Ron P study and perform better in school as he was able to set his schoolwork to beats and remember the information. The mark of a true artist! Around the age of sixteen, Ron P started rapping with friends and quickly formed a rap group entitled Toon Gang. Toon Gang evolved as more a close knit group of friends, acting as family, and dissolved musically. Toon Gang members still represent Ron P’s brothers to this day. With the group’s demise behind him, Ron P soon set out to make a name for himself.
