The CD "ALTERNATIVE BLUES" was recorded in Chicago, Ill. during 2002 and 2003; and was released on my own label "DIGITONE MUSIC" during 2005. The songs on this CD represent a unique blend of blues, rock, and country influences, and make them unlike most that you've heard before. The musicians on the compilation consist of players who got together to play with each other and have some fun--hence the 13 songs on the album. PHIL ARMETTA-- plays all the guitar parts and is from New york City originally having been in Chicago for a good period of time and played with most of the bluesers in town, most notably with the "OTIS CLAY" grammy award winning band until 1999; then with many others. He is currently in New York promoting his own project.
