Thanks for the support. Random is a four-piece rock band from the Northwest side of Chicago. The band began in high school with current members Bill Kovacs and Tom Shallcross covering classic rock songs at local carnivals and events. Random continued to write and learn more covers which lead them to playing local bars at the ripe old age of 16. Several name changes and guitarists later, Random progressed down to Champaign for college where they met current guitar Vik Chaudhry. After taking a break for one member’s military service, the band became a powerful force at both the bar scene and parties in Champaign The band maintained consistent shows on campus by becoming the house band at two campus bars and frequently played happy hours, fraternity parties and opening acts at the Canopy Club...
