Thom Yorke (vocals, guitar), Ed O'Brien (guitar, vocals), Jonny Greenwood (guitar), Colin Greenwood (bass) and Phil Selway (drums) formed Radiohead at Oxford University in 1988. Radiohead was originally called "On a Friday." They changed their name and released their first EP in 1992 called "Drill." This EP helped them get a record deal with EMI and release their first hit single "Creep." A year later they came out with their first full length album, "Pablo Honey." The album went gold after extensive touring in the U.S. and heavy air play of the single "Creep." In 1995 Radiohead came out with their second album, "The Bends," which received rave reviews. However, the record was ignored by the mainstream media and received little television or radio play. In '97 Radiohead release their third album, "OK Computer," a musical masterpiece.
