The power of collision defined in sound.....puncture vine blends the intensity of hard-core rock and industrial with the energy of electronica and house, and the delivery style of hip-hop. Two female and one male vocalist with drastically different styles, deliver an enormously dynamic, but cohesive musical experience. A wall of high energy electronics pounds and growls underfoot, as the future crawls down the vine.......
Puncture Vine is a project of three experienced Canadian musicians / composers, ( including myself, Jeff Carter, and singer / songwriters Hayley Ordiway, and Sylviane Leblanc ) We have a collective need to push the boundaries of musical expression. We combine styles ( pop / industrial / classical orchestration / hiphop / rock / whatever....) to come up with new vibes. Our music uses electronics as a creative tool, never as a crutch. We have worked with many other brilliant southern Ontario artists on our past two albums, "Burn" and "Unravelling ...
