DEFINITION: ProjectBabies is a term used to describe an individual(s) who have overcome struggle, adversity, negativity, a persevered and became a stronger more positive individual. The ProjectBabies are a collective of individuals who grew up in Watts, Ca., Nickerson Gardens to be exact. Lawrence Willis gathered together 8 artists to spearhead the creation of The ProjectBabies, who are J.J. aka Smurf, Tudy Mack, Lil Louie, Y.G., Kountry, and PZ, along with Lawrence Willis, came together and decided to do something more positive with their lives. Being born into one of the toughest places in Southern California to live, placed many challenges upon this group of individuals.
