My Bio: I'm Ali. I have a life that sometimes resembles a soap opera, but I wouldn't change it for the world. It's less boring this way and hey, at least I have good stories!
I was born in Peterborough, but I moved to the Essex /Suffolk border when I was six months old. I grew up there, and it was a pretty average childhood. When I was ten we moved to Derbyshire, to a little village called Great Longstone. We lived in a rented house there for a while, and started to build our own house on a street which isn't even in a village. We've lived in Derbyshire for about six years now, and about four of them have been in the self-built house. I have a love/hate relationship with this county.
I love music. In it's entirety. I'm currently at the University of Derby in Buxton doing a BTEC National Diploma in Music Practice. It's early days, but so far it's been good. I also love words. The way they can form shapes in your head, the way slight intonations change meanings beyond our realisation.
I've been lucky enough to fall in with some pretty awesome people in my life. My friends and family are as essential to my exsistence as oxygen. Believe it.
Essentially, I'm a normal girl in a sometimes slightly extraoridnary situation.
