ONE MILE SOUTH is a groove based Country trio formed by three singer-songwriters in Nashville in 1999. Tim Schneider from Portland, OR, Daniel Palasset-Mouledous from Dallas, TX and Gary Bunning from Seattle, WA met in the songwriter Rounds of Nashville and began writing music together. Their songs were so well received that they were asked to perform together on a regular basis.
In 2003, while playing the legendary Broken Spoke, a chance meeting with RowHouse Record Label gave them an opportunity to produce a CD with several members of the Dance Hall Doctors, including award winning producer Darran Smith and Denny Hemingson. To date three singles have been released to radio and a broad audience of OMS fans has been established.
In 2004 OMS won a coveted opening slot performance at the Country Thunder show in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin and again gained an even stronger following.
