Oingo Boingo is was a synth-pop band form in 1977 and disbanded in 1996. They were originally put together for a film called "Forbidden Zone" by Richard Elfman. Originally called Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo the band shortened the name and began playing shows while the film was being shot. The most notable member of Oingo Boingo is Danny Elfman(little brother of Richard Elfman) who is now one of the most in demand composer for film.
