We are a gothic/doom/operatic metal band with female vocals, elements of progressive and influence of classic music. "Best operatic voice" winner in vote-contest for best female vocals "Metal Maiden 2004" among bands from ex-USSR countries (heavymusic.ru) Most of you have heard about Requiem - the funeral messa, dedicated to the memory of the gone ones. It?s based on a latin poem "Sequentia" written by a fraciscan monk Tomas de Celano in the XIII-th century. The difference between Requiem and the ordinary catholic messa is in the absence of some parts (Gloria, Credo) instead of which some other were introduced - Offertorioum amongst the others. So it appears that Offertorium is a part of Requiem. The source of inspiration for ?band is the medieval sacred music, in particular, music of an epoch of a baroque and early romanticism, and also creativity of German poets of the " Sturm und Drang " period is used for the band's lyrics.
