Northern Liberties formed in the year 2000 in the basement of the Catbox in west Philadelphia. We played our first show in this same basement in February of that year, with Captain Crash and Myles Of Destruction. We have, since that point, stumbled forward with awkward and strange steps. We have released a seven inch record, "Easter Island", and a seventeen song CD "Erode + Disappear" in our own way, on our own time, on the Philadelphia non profit micro label Worldeater records. We have released several small run live CDRs in editions of 23 copies each. We have embarked on two small tours, one of the midwest United States and the other of the southern states. We spread like a cloud of blood underwater, growing thinner as we blossom into infinity. At the farthest reaches of our influence, our existence is felt on a purely non-linear and abstract level.
