MEMBERS OF THE GROUP: Lead Singer/Song writer: Leroy (Dick) Kersey, born in upstate New York; One of ten children. Married at the age of twenty four to Patricia Gregory in 1967. They have two children and one grandchild. Leroy was not blessed with musical talent like most of his family. He tried hard at the age of twenty four to sing and play guitar, he gave up his dream of playing and sold his guitar. At the age of fifty seven he started his walk with the "Lord". In April of 2002 his wife signed him up for Ukelele lessons at their church. After three weeks of classes and knowing only three cords, Leroy was ready to give up again.-------"THE LORD HAD ANOTHER IDEA" A friend of the Kersey's that attended the same church, came and presented Leroy with an instrument called a 'Baritone Tiple' {He tells everyone it's crossed between a Uke and a Mandolin} This little " one of a kind-hand made instrument" has eight strings and fits inside a violin case....
