Having spent years on the road, battling the indie-scene as the band Sleep Station, they entered the recording studio and left it three weeks later as NEW LONDON FIRE. Recorded in an innovative "one song a day" process, their new record, "I Sing The Body Holographic" draws its influences from The Cars and Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall", yet maintaining a rock sound all its own. The band's beautiful melodies are accompanied by an array of circa-1983 electric-piano effects that give this record a shimmering prettiness like nothing heard before. Their record, "I Sing The Body Holographic" comes out on Eyeball Records and The Platform Group on February 7th, 2006. |
