Early June 2004, the band Faces of Freedom formed. The following summer on May 21st 2005 they played their fist show at The Grand Illusion in Middletown, Ohio. All though they had only been a full band for three months at this time, the crowd showed great enthusiasm and Faces of Freedom developed a great following. Soon after, they changed their name to My Wasted Youth, which caught on to the many fans they gained. Both names were derived from their freedom from addictions and desire to become everything they should already be. Since then, their urge to perform and be heard has overtaken them. Each member has had a difficult road to follow but they are thankful for the goals and destinations they have reached. Coming from different backgrounds has played a major role in where they each are now including the development of the band.
