Ola, I'm MoFrancesco, i'm a bassist/double bassist/songwriter. I come from Italy, and live in Lisbon, i play with Terrakota, Tora Tora, Anonima Nuvolari, Groove Quartet, Galaxy 5, Raimund Engelhardt, Trioing, Savio Araujo Quartet, Andre Cabaço..... I was born in Italy, studied at the Scuola Civica di Milano Violoncello, after two years i've changed to Double Bass. Graduate in Literature and Languages in the Universita Statale Di Milano in 2001. I've studied Double Bass in Cuba, Havana, in Ena (Escuela Nacional de Artes), and with various cubans players, latin jazz, cuban music and folklore (1995 and 2002). Live in Lisbon since 1996, where i've studied with Massimo Cavalli, at Barreiro school of jazz with Afonso Pais, and where attended workshop's with Carlos Bica, Frank Mobus, Erik Shaffen, Marc Miralt, Carlos Barreto.
