Harlem seems to give birth to many creative trend setting MC’s such as Ma$e, Cam’Ron, Big L and Doug E. Fresh, but the future of Harlem now has a name that’s not to be forgotten. Maurice “MoeRoc” Clayton is creating a street buzz with his Out Of Control Mixtapes. His talent along with his work ethic has become a deadly combination for the 21-year old rapper.

MoeRoc had never rapped before in his life, until his brother convinced him to try during a freestyle session with friends in high school. “I had no idea what I was doing,” MoeRoc admitted, “but before I knew it, words just started flowing out.” Ever since then, he has recorded over 120 songs. “Every block in New York has at least 5 niggas that claim they can rap…so the only way to distinguish yourself from this bucket of crabs will be your skill, originality and consistently…. that’s why I’m always in the studio working on new material,” MoeRoc explains.
