Mobb Deep members Havoc (born Kejuan Muchita) and Prodigy (born Albert Johnson) met at a vocational school in New York in 1989. They quickly bonded because they could relate and they both repped Queensbridge projects. Mobb Deep is known for their gritty lyrics and telling it like it is. Being able to produce themselves, they got a deal with 4th and Broadway records and released their first lp, \\\"Juvenile Hell\\\" in 1993. This album didn\\\'t sell many units but in 1995, they came back with the classic album \\\"The Infamous\\\" on Loud records. Which featured \\\"Survival of the Fittest\\\", \\\"Give Up the Goods\\\", and \\\"Shook Ones Pt. 2\\\".
