Melissa Elliott a.k.a. Missy ' Misdemeanor ' Elliott has been at the top of the rap game for the past 6 years. Born in 1971 in Portsmouth, Virginia, USA, Missy, as a child, often watched her mother being beaten by her father. Who felt it necessary to ' discipline ' his wife to ' keep her in order '.
