Memphis Belle is a rock and roll band hailing from the Southern California desert, striving to return the heart and soul from days of old to today's music. Drawing upon many influences--including classic rock, roots rock, blues, and jazz--they have merged the sound of a dying era with modern-day appeal. This combination produces a truly unique sound of energetic, guitar-driven rock that, when combined with a passionate, captivating live show, leaves the audience enthralled. Edwin Ortiz (guitar, vocals) and Jeremiah Johns (bass) formed the band in early 2003, and were joined shortly thereafter by Daniel Schaaff (lead guitar), formerly of Dizmas and Custom Deluxe. Daniel's brother, Tim Schaaff (drums), joined in March of 2005, and JR Goleno filled the role of bass guitar for their summer tour.
