Matt Mason is a young aspiring country music singer and songwriter with an outlaw edge. His sound and stage presence combine aspects of traditional country with a bit of rock & roll attitude. Matt is not one to conform to popular sound or style. He has a style all to his own, and that style is one that definitely adheres to country music's honky-tonk roots. His influences include some of the old outlaws like Waylon and Willie, Haggard, and Hank Jr. Matt also enjoys a little George Jones and a lot of Johnny Cash every now and then. A record from Kid Rock, Shooter Jennings, Alan Jackson or George Strait can be heard from his CD player at any given time as well.
