Machine Head started in 1992 when lead singer/guitarist Robert Flynn got together with guitarist Logan Mader, bassist Adam Duce, and drummer Tony Cadenza. Robb had already had plenty of experience in bands by proving his talent previously in Vio-lence. Cadenza soon departed from the band but was quickley replaced with Chris Kontos. With Kontos, they released their first album, Burn My Eyes in 1994. This was and still is thought to be their greatest album. Due to family problems, Kontos departed soon after.
Dave Mc Clain became the next drummer. in 1997 they released their second album, The More Things Change. This would be their last album with Logan Mader.
After Mader's departure, Robb, with new guitarist Ahrue Luster, decided to take a new route. 1999's The Burning Red took a more meloncholy and nu-metal (although not quite) approach.
In 2001 their fourth album Supercharger, they showed slightly more metallic elements, although still not as loud as Burn My Eyes. The...
