Lucidity was formed in late 2004 by four men who knew each other from different connections. The main idea was to have fun just play some "leftovers" from our earlier bands. But later on the songs started to form the shape of the bands music, melodic (death) metal. At some point the song composing started to be more focused and more determined. After six months of intense practise first studio material was recorded in Karstula, Riuttarecords studios. It was only a "practise" session. Everything happened too fast. But it was enlightening experience. After the studio session, the band was forced to have a brake. The rehearsal place in Lutakko was under reconstruction. So we didn't have a place to rehearse. From June to December we had maximum 10 rehearse sessions. But during that period, even we had no rehearsal place, we made songs. During the brake, our music changed a bit.
