Ian Watkins Lee Gaze Mike Chiplin Mike Lewis Jamie Oliver Stu Richardson From the peaceful streets of Pontypridd, South Wales dwelled the elite force of Lostprophets. The six simple welsh guys started off hungry for a way to express their depressions of school with their musical talents, Ian Watkins, Lee Gaze, Mike Chiplin, Mike Lewis, Jamie Oliver, Stu Richardson later experienced similarities between their musical tastes and personalities. Thus, the birth of Lostprophets. However, at the age of just 16, it was Ian’s and Mike’s idea to start a band together to form a hardcore band to name themselves, ‘Public Disturbance’. After a thriving impact on the London Underground, Lostprophets slowly began to retreat back to concentrate more on other important events, such as, finishing University.
