LINQ, raised in East Tampa in the belmont heights/jackson heights area, fell in love with music at a young age. Listening to artist as Ice Cube, Jay-Z, Snoop, 2pac, Biggie, Outkast, Ghetto Boys and so on. At around the age of 16 he began Recording music on a karaoke machine wit a single mic and an instrumental tape of underground beats. Also recording with him at the time was, artist Gage, Kelv, L-Casanova, Reezy Reese, Yung Money and R&B singer J.R.. Little did he know this hobbie of his would mold his talent into what it is today. After Years of karaoke recording he finally had his chance at a real studio. Linq recalls, "I member when we first hit the studio, I was so ready to lay that shit down". Him and his partner Kelv, recorded a song called "Exhale". The experience was just another stepping stone in his path.
