Anthony J. Hatton aka "Amp" was born and raised in Richmond, Va. On the date of july 21, 1993, since the age of thirteen music has been my passion. I started rapping in the year of 2006 throughout various text rap battle websites, it was there that I learned how to form punchlines, simillies, metaphors, wordplay & etc.. These different websites also taught me everything there is to know about writing a "verse". Whenever I didnt have a battle to prepare for I was writing freestyle verses to improve my skills. I recorded my first song in the year of 2008, thats when my love for writing and making music expanded greatly. In the year 2010 I formed a group ("Beyond Your Level") with local richmond rappers and friends (Lo'Rae, Quan, Geno & J Fresh)..Music is life!
