The Lakas Experiment comprises of a single individual, Jacob Carnick. I went to school at SAE Nashville for nine months, during which I learned how to run many different kinds of audio gear, namely Pro Tools. So, I began work on a story I'd been fiddling with, and started writing songs to it. Originally called Wayward Saul, I renamed the band when we split up. If you would like to know more, feel free to contact me. Now, for some background on the story itself. This is a project that I've been working on for about a year now, one that revolves around the story of a character, Saul Cusick. Each song is another chapter in his story, taking you further and further into this world of murder, revenge, and war. Saul, at the beginning only six, witnesses his family's murder at the hands of his antagonist, Joseph. And so, his quest for revenge begins, but a whole new world opens up to him on this journey, and he travels farther than he ever would have imagined.
